KING'S CONGRATULATIONS.

The King has sent a congratulatory telegram to Mr. J. A. Mollison, who is resting in London after his record flight from Australia. Hundreds of other messages arrived to-day, including one sent on behalf of the Air Council by Lord Amu!ree, Air Minister, and tele,grams from the Governor of New South Wales, Sir Philip Game, and Lord Wakefield, who financed the flight. As Miss Amy Johnson was not aware of Mr. Mollison's exact address she telegraphed from Japan to " Mollison, aviator, London," offering congratulations on his magnificent flight and expressing the hope that ho would await her return. Mr. Mollison replied " Thanks. I will surely await your return." ATLANTIC FLIGHT. AMERICANS GOING HOME. RETURN JOURNEY BEGUN. (Eeceived August 9, 5.5 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. August 9. Messrs. Boardman and Polando, who recently flew to Constantinople, took off to-day for Marseilles, en route to New York. CHICHESTER'S JOURNEY. AIRMAN AT SHANGHAI. SHANGHAI, August S. Mr. F. C. Chichester, who is on a flight to England, arrived at Shanghai yesterday afternoon. TOUR OF LINDBERGH. POINT BARROW REACHED. (Eeceived August 9, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, August S. A message from Point Barrow, Alaska, says Colonel and Mrs. Lindbergh arrived there at 2 a.m. to-day from Aklairk, en route to Japan.
