STATE SAVINGS BANK.
— PROBABLE REOPENING. BILL NOW BEING DRAFTED. SYDNEY, August 8. The Daily Telegraph says it is hoped to reopen the Government Savings Bank on August 17. The scheme of the expert committee has been handed to the Parliamentary draughtsmen, and work is to be expedited in that department, so that the necessary legislation will be ready for Parliament next week. Six leading business men may act as trustees.
