OLYMPIC TEAM PROSPECTS.

The opinion in official circles is that R. Purdie, the Auckland feather-weight. 11. Thomas, Wellington light-weight, and B Lowe, the Otago welter-weight, all of whom were successful in the New Zealand championships this week, are certainties for the New Zealand boxing team for the Olympic Games at Los Angeles next year. The personnel will be announced early. The profit on the tournament thi3 week was £62.
