DANCE AND CARD EVENING.

1 MARIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL.

The funds of the Marist Brothers' School, Vermont Street, were satisfactorily augmented as the result of a (lance and card evening organised by a committee of ladies and held in the Manchester Unity Hall last evening. A euchre and bridge tournament, in which a large number of the guests took part, was held in the large supper room, and excellent music was, provided for the dancers by the Parisian orchestra.
