TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.

BREACHES AT ONEHUNGA. UNUSUAL SERIES OF CHARGES. There* was a record list of 88 cases for hearing at the fortnightly sitting of the Onehunga Magistrate's Court yesterday. Most of the charges related 'to breaches of the traffic regulations. Mr. F. H. Lcvien, S.M., dealt with the major cases in the main Court while justices of the peace were busy in an adjoining room.

One motorist was charged with having no licence, no number plates, no lights, and brakes which were sadly defective.

"I can imagine," remarked Mr. Levien, "that there are no offences left for defendant to commit) The car should never have been on. the road at all."

Fines of £1 each in respect of the three first charges and 10s on the last were imposed.
