HIGH SCHOOL BALL. The committee of the Opo'tiki District High School Old Pupils' Association held their second annual ball last week. There was a very large attendance and in every way the function was a success. The hall, with many nikaus, pungas and masses of peach blossom, looked most attractive. A huge punga fitted with coloured fairy lights was placed in the centre of the hall and cast a subdued and effective light over the dancers and the many dainty frocks that were worn. The orchestra's stand and the doorways, in addition, were outlined with trellis work intertwined with, peach blossom and foliage. Supper was served in another room, where the 'tables were arranged with tall crystal vases of flame coloured passion flowers and foliage.
