INSURGENTS IN BURMA. LOSSES ON BOTH SIDES. (Received July 15, 8.35 p.m.} CALCUTTA, July 15. A party of military police was ambushed by the Burmese rebels on the Pegu River. Two policemen were killed and five wounded. The police bravely resisted a superior force and killed 15 rebels. An aged village woman, who refused to reveal the hiding place of her money at Toungoo, was soaked in oil and burned to death by the rebels.
