AYRSHIRE CATTLE.

MEETING OF BREEDERS. Delegates representing Auckland, North Auckland, ITuntly and Waiuku were present at a meeting of the Auckland Provincial Ayrshire Breeders' Association, held yesterday for the purpose of attempting to associate breeders in the North with thosa of the Auckland Association. It is understood that a satisfactory settlement is likely to be reached. 4 A donation of an Ayrshire fiull from • Mr. A. M. Weir, of Southland, was accepted, and a committee was set up deal with applications for the use of the animal.

It was decided to hold meetings at the summer shows at Auckland. Whangarei and Franklin, and to exhibit Ayrshire cattle there.

Reports from delegates showed that the Ayrshire breed is becoming increasingly popular, especially in the North.
