COUNTY CRICKET.
IMPROVEMENT BY SUSSEX. Jhe matches decided last week in the English county cricket championship made 1,0 change in the positions on the tabic °f the first five teams, which in order are Nottingham. Yorkshire, Gloucester, Lancashire and Kent. Nottingham, with 137 points, is closely followed by Yorkshire th 131, and as these two counties meet wice in succession in the next two matches,' the first of which was commenced on Saturday, the results will be with considerable interest.
