LATE MR. W. WALLACE.

SHOW EXECUTIVE'S TRIBUTE. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.'I HAMILTON, Tuesday. Sympathetic reference to the death of Mr. William Wallace, of Hamilton, was made at a meeting of the executive of the Waikato Winter Show Association to-day. The president, Mr. J. R. Fow, said Mr. Wallace had been an outstanding member of the association, and had been a member of the committee since 1922. He was vice-president in 1924-25, and was president in 1926-27. Mr. Wallace had filled these positions with distinction. A vote of condolence with the relatives of Mr. Wallace was passed.
