TRANSPORT CLUB SOCIAL.
Boots Hall was thronged with dancers last evening when (he second social for Ihe season of the Auckland Transport Club was held. The programme was divided into modern as well as ckl-time dancing and excellent music was played for both by Morrow's Orchestra. Tables for bridge, five hundred and euchre were set out in the rooms off the halt and prizes were awarded in the various tournaments. On arrival the guests were received in the entrance by the members of the club committes, who were responsible for the arrangements. Mr, J. A. C. Allum, chairman of the 'Auckland Transport Board, was among those present. Mr. J. Campbell j.cted as master of ceremonies.
