CAROL OF RUMANIA.
OPENING OF PARLIAMENT. NO CHEERING IN STREETS. BUCHAREST, June 16. Instead of the delirious cheering which greeted King Carol when he opened Parliament for the first time last year a silent and listless crowd ■ watched him and Prince Michael drive to Parliament to-day in a magnificent carriago drawn by six jet black horses. The erstwhile boy King shifted restlessly while his father read the Royal message and could hardly conceal his boredom with the whole proceedings.
