MISSING PATIENTS.
TWO CASES REPORTED.
DISAPPEARANCE FROM HOSPITAL.
A middle-aged man, Mr. Edmund Jowitb, who was a patient at the Auck-> land Hospital, was missed from the institution yesterday. It was ljis habit to go for walks in the morning and return to lunch, but after leaving as usual about 9 o'clock yesterday morning ho failed to return.
Mr. Jowitt is about 54 years of age. Ho is tall and has brown eyes and was wearing a grey suit over a grey lumber jacket, and a soft felt hat. Having suffered paralysis, bo limps and walks with the aid of a slick. ,
The disappearance on June 6 from King George V. Hospital, Rotorua, of a patient, Miss Eliza Kingston, has led to inquiries by tho police as to her whereabouts. Miss Kingston was found wandering aimlessly about tho streets of Rotorua on May 31 and was later admitted to the hospital suffering . from loss of memory. While in. hospital she told a disjointed story of coming to Rotorua from the Gisborne district. Sho is about 30 years of ago.
