WOMAN'S 86-HOUR RECORD. [from our own correspondent.] SUVA. June 11. News lias just reached Suva that tho record endurance swim is held by Mrs. - Myrtle Huddlestone, of San Francisco, with 86 hours 16 minutes. Zimmy, tho legless Fijian, man, ha& : had hard luck, as he came out of the municipal baths recently with 81 hours to his credit and in quite good shape and apparently able to have done another 10 ■- hours. He is not downhearted, however, and ho says lie is confident that ho will yet be able to gain the title.
