In the banking group New Zealands pained 5d on the previous day's Auckland market to sell twice at 4Cs 3d. Commercials were a shade firmer at the close, buyers offering 14s 2d, compared with Rs Id the day before. Insurances were quiet and showed practically no movement. In tho loan and agency section buyers came in for Dalgetys at £5 los, compared with the previous sale in tho South a fortnight before at £5 2s. Goldsbroughi Morts changed hands at 19s, which is 3d I above tho previous day's Southern price. More were wanted at 18s lOd.
