ESPIONAGE ALLEGED.
GERMAN CHEMICAL PATENTS. SALE TO FOREIGN SPIES. BERLIN, June 10. The trial has begun at the Supreme Court, Leipzig, of nine persons charged with industrial espionage in the big Lcuna chemical works. They include lierr Becker, a shopkeeper, who is alleged to have persuaded his wife, who works as charwoman, to steal the patented chemical formulae. Other important material was sold by them to the French espionage servico. The trial is being held in camera in the interests of security.
