OBITUARY.

COLONEL S. J. SHILLINGTON. (Received June 8, 7.35 p.m.) SYDNEY. June 8. The death has occurred of Colonel S. J. Shillington, a prominent soldier who servefl with distinction at Gallipoli, in Palestine and in Fiance. Deceased was elected to the New South Wales legislative Assembly in 1919, and in 1926 became Resident Magistrate and Acting-Judge at Itabaul. From there he returned last year owing to ill-health.
