DEVONPORT ORPHANS' CLUB

A successful gathering was held by the Devonport Orphans' Club on Saturday evening, Profsssor Maxwell Walker presiding. There was a very large attendance, there being an increase of over 50 in the membership of the club this year. An address on "Orphans' Clubs and the Reason for their Existence was given by Professor Maxwell Walker. An excellent programme o* orchestral and solo items was given, and a thorougnly able evening was i>pent. KgH
