PROBATION FOR YOUTH.

SUNDRY ARTICLES STOLEN. The theft of a bicycle, a pair of shoes, a watch and chain, a pocket knife and a motor-car driver's licence, of a total value of £l3, was admitted in the Police Court on Saturday by Pascoe Mason, aged 17, labourer. The offences were committed during April and May. Detective-Sergeant Kelly said that while accused had been on remand the police had been instrumental in recoveringTll the stolen property. Tho magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, admitted Mason to probation for 12 months.
