AUTHORITIES CONFER TO-DAY

CITY COUNCIL TO ATTEND

Representatives of all the local authorities interested, including the Auckland City Council, will meet in conference in the Town Hall this afternoon to discuss the Auckland Provincial Water Board Bill, consideration of which was postponed by Parliament during the last general session. The conference has been called by tho lion. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health. Mr. Stallworthy, who had charge of the bill, stated yesterday that at the request of the Mount Eden Borough Council, which was acting on behalf also of other bodies, ho had Called the conference together so that tho question could be discussed amicably. The Auckland City Council had agreed to be present.
