Competitors from all over New Zealand are attending the North Island eheen dog championship triala, now in progress at Kaiiwi. The long head competition, for which there were over GO entries, concluded to-day, and was won by T. Sullivan's (Makirikiri)Smoke, with 47] points. P. McKenzie's (Broadwood) Haigh was second with 46i points. R. J. Wiffin'B (Daunevirko) Bet was third with 46 points, and J. (Kurow) Toby. dun., was fourth.
