ART UNION PERMITS.
PROTEST TO MINISTER. Renewed protest, against the issue of permits for art unions was made afc the annual conference of the Auckland auxiliary of the Baptist Union yesterday, when the following resolution was passed:— •'This assembly expresses the strongest disapproval of the action of the Minister of Internal Affairs in persisting, in the face of repeated protests, in issuing further permits for art unions."
