RETURNED SOLDIERS.

WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. REMITS FOR CONFERENCE. [FROM 00- OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 HAMILTON. Wednesday. At a meeting of the executive of the Waikato Returned Soldiers' Association it was decided to ask the association's delegate to the Dominion conference to support a reduction of the capitation fee to headquarters if in his opinion circumstances warranted it. Two remits for the Dominion conference were passed. It was urged that there should be a 10 per cent, reduction in headquarters salaries, and that the Government be again approached with a view to putting into operation tho recommendations of tho Rehabilitation Commission's RejTort.
