FLIGHT ABANDONED.
MR. ASH AT TOKIO. AEROPLANE UNABLE TO RISE. (Received June 2, 8.45 p.m.) TOKIO. June 1. Mr. T. Ash has abandoned his attempt to fly across the Pacific, as he is convinced that it is impracticable. He had a narrow escape from disaster when his aeroplane refused to lift the necessary heavy load of fuel.
