STRANGE SIGHT IN LONDON. HOMAGE AT LINCOLN'S STATUE. (Received June 1, 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 31. Fifty negroes, accompanied by their families, attended the first special service held by the Order of the Elks in Westminster Abbey. Afterwards they paid homage at the statue of Abraham Lincoln in Parliament Square. Londoners had not seen such a strange procession. Ono negro wore evening dress and others wore white ducks and bine blazers with white and mauve ribbands around Panama hats.
