The broad effect ol the new Road Traffic Act, according to exhaustive inquiries made through their officials in all parts of the country by the Royal Automobile Club and the Automobile Association, is that since its introduction British motorists, both professional and private, are definitely exercising greater care and consideration for' others than in the past. In spite of the abolition of tho speed limit the reports arc almost unanimously agroed that there has been no general increase in speed.
