HAWKE'S BAY CATTLE.

MOB FOR ROTORUA. JOURNEY THROUGH UREWERA. The first mob of cattle ever to travel to Rotorua through the Urev.-era country from Hawke's Bay is now on the road and is expected to reach Rotorua early next week. The mob, which numbers over 200 head, is now more than half-way on its long journey, and has come through the worst of the country to be traversed in very good order and with the loss of only one beast., an achievement which the owner, Mr. A. L. Keith, describes as very satisfactory. Mr. Keith purchased thu cattle in Hawke.'s Bay and decided to have thorn taken to Rotorua via the new roulo.
