SCOW ASHORE.

VESSEL REFLOATED LATER. NO DAMAGE RECEIVED. A scow, tho Alwyp G, went ashore on t,he rocks between Milford and Takapuna Beaches at four o'clock yesterday morning and was refloated, undamaged, on the afternoon tide. An auxiliary vessel of 37 tons gross, the scow is engaged mainly in ' bringing firewood from Waiheke Island to Auckland, and is owned by Messrs. Glass and Alcock. The vessel had a cargo for discharge at Takapuna Beach yesterday and after she was refloated, the scow was able to proceed to her destination.
