OPERATIONS AT WAIHI.

[BY TEI.EGR.VrH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Friday. The following information • has been cabled lo the London office of the Waihi Cold Mining Company, Limited:— No. 9 Level.—Martha Lode in Junction eastern area: The next 21ft., driving east, assays 15s per ton. No. 10 Level in Junction eastern area. —The State reef was met at 160 ft. in intermediate south-east crosscut. The first foot assays 77s 3d per ton and last 13ft. is calcite, probably the cross-course seen at No. 10 level. No. 11 Level, in Junction eastern ate.i. --State reef: Driving east, the next 28 '■ assays 23s 9d per ton. The lode is about sl't. wide.
