TITLED WOMAN'S LOVE LETTERS. ENGAGEMENT TO CONVICT. A prison romance in England in which a titled woman played tho chief role is being investigated by the prison authorities. The Sunday Express rocontly related how a titled woman was introduced to an ex-public schoolboy convict in prison with the object of effecting a reconciliation with his family. Tho woman's visits led to the pair falling deeply in love, and as prisoners are allowed only one letter a month, a system of smuggling love letters and photographs into the prison was devised, and was only discovered after three years. Tho pair were engaged to be married soon.
