UNITED PARTY LEAGUE.

BRANCH AT OTAHUHU. . A branch of the United Party Women's League has been formed in Otahuhu to further the interests of Mr. E. Allan in tho Hauraki by-election. The announce ment of tho formation of tho branch was made by the president of the- Auckland branch, Mr. N. von Stunner, at a meeting of women yesterday convened by the Mayoress of Otahuhu, Mrs. Clements. The Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Public Works, addressed tho meeting and also Miss E. Wilson, vice-president of the league. A motion of confidence in the Prime Minister was- carried unanimously on the motion of Mrs. von Stunner.
