ARTICHOKES AU GRATIN.
Cold artichokes, essenco of anchovy, bread crumbs, bechamel sauce, peppor and salt. Butler some scallop shells and sprinklo with bread crumbs; sli'-o in the, artichokes, put over a spoonful of sauce flavoured with anchovy; season with pepper and salt, cover with crumbs, put over a few pieces of butter, and bake till brown j serve hot.
