ENGLISH LEAGUE CHANGES. BROMWICH ALBION PROMOTED. LONDON, May 3. The result of the season's play in the English Association League is that Leeds United is relegated from the First Division to the Second Division. West Bromich Albion, who won the Association Cup, completed a wonderful season by winning promotion with Everton to the First Division at the expense of Tottenham Hotspurs, whose defeat caused the 20,000 spectators to rush on to the ground, cheering the victorious Albions.

The two teams which head the Second Division are promoted to the First Division, in place of tho.last two in that division at tho end of tho season.
