MELBOURNE MEN RESUME. '/ CONFERENCE WITH EMPLOYERS. (Received May *l. 915 p.m.) ' MELBOURNE. May 1. Tho meat strike at Melbourne has been declared /off. The slaughtermen have decided to resume work on condition that n conference takes place with the employers respecting tho recent cut in wages. If negotiations fail, tho question of ex tending tho strike will be consideied.
