THE YACHT TEDDY.

TRIP FROM WHANGAROA. UNFAVOURABLE WINDS PREVAIL. The Norwegian yacht Teddy, which returned to Wliangaroa for shelter on Saturday morning, left yesterday morning to complete her voyage from Sydney to Auckland, The Herald s Whangaroa correspondent stated that the yacht left at 9.30 a.m., towed bv a small launch, which was to take her to the heads. The indications were for a westerly breeze, which, at the moment, was very light.

No sign of tho yacht had been seen up to 10 p.m. by the lighthouse-keepers at Cape Brett, which is about 35 miles south of Whangaroa. They reported that the weather was then dull. The wind all day had been fresh from the south-east and a moderate sea was running. Under such conditions tho Teddy would be faced with a dead " slo'g" clown the coast and it was possible that the vessel had again sought shelter until conditions were more favourable.
