DOCKING FACILITIES.
Sir, —While Auckland is staggering under its load of unemployment the lack of dry docking facilities has driven a large amount of work and wages out of Auckland. This, in view of the fact that Ihe present Harbour Board has devoted a lot of time to the discussion of a harbour bridge for a private concern leaves room for the question: What is being done to avert a repetition of the present, existing docking scandal? The Herat.n of April 27 reports only a few of the vessels shut out by the. Hauraki. Advance Auckland.
