POLICE COURT NEWS.

TWO ACCUSED REMANDED. A charge of being found intoxicated when in charge of a motor-car in Queen Street was preferred in the Police Court yesterday against a taxi-driver, George Hamilton Haslett, aged 31, who was arrested at 3.10 a.m. on Sunday. On the application of Mr. Singer accused was remanded until this morning, bail being allowed in the sum of £SO, with one surety of the same amount.

William Horace Good, aged 33, described as a labourer, was remanded for a week on a charge of obtaining credit by fraud at Auckland on June 19, 1930, by incurring a debt of £24 15s 6d with .J. J. Jones. Limited. Tho magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, fixed bail at £IOO.
