BADGE FOR SHOPPERS.

A suggestion that a badge for shoppers should be designed which would indicate to shop assistants the desire of the wearer to be supplied with New Zealand-made goods was received by the Auckland Manufacturers' Association yesterday. It was argued that the proposed badge would indicate a preference tor New Zealand made, British-made, and, thirdly, Empiremade goods. The suggestion was referred to tho publicity committee.
