A choral wedding was celebrated at St. A 1 ban's Anglican Church, Dominion Road, recently, when Miss Annie Johnston, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnston, of Mount Pleasant l{oad, Dominion Road, was married to Mr. John Jeffecott, of England. The Rev. A.-J. Greenwood per formal the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a slim-fitting anklo-lcngtli frock of ivory sal in. Her veil of embroidered silk net was caught to tho head with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of Easter lilies and satin ribbon. Iler bridesmaid was Miss L. Bennett, of Paeroa, who wore a frock of rose pink crepo do chine, with a black hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of mauve and pale pink flowers with mauve ribbon. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. J. Murray, After the ceremony 'the guests were received by the bride's parents at their house, Mount Pleasant Road, Dominion Road.
SHAW—WITHER. Tho marriage of Aliss Alary Littterick Wither, only daughter of Mi', and Mrs. J. A. Wither, of Glen Eden, to Air. Erio Samuel Shaw, fourth son of Air. and Airs. J. Shaw, of Oratia, was celebrated at the Glen Edeu Alelhodist Church recently; The Rev. J. Wrigley performed tho ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her father, woro a frock of ivory satin beaute, with yoke trimmed with shell-pink rosebuds and an ankle-length flared skirt with deep lace hem. Her veil was of embroidered tulle, with coronet^ and ear clusters of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white cactus dahlias. Aliss Georgina Borich was chief bridesmaid and wore an ankle-length frock of applegreen taffeta with tulle yoke and hem, and picture hat to tone of crinoline and georgette. She carried a bouquet of apricot and mauve cactus dahlias. The second bridesmaid, Aliss Dorothy Shaw, woro an ankle-length pink floral ninon frock with uneven hem and hat of pink crinoline. She carried a bouquet of mauve and pale pink cactus, dahlias. The bride's mother wore navy blue crepe de chine, with beige georgette trimming and hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of mauve pom-pom dahlias. The bridegroom's mother wore a wine frock with grey hat. The bride was given away by her father, and Air. E. Hieatt played the bridal music. Air. Alan Wither was best man and Air. E. Carpenter was groomsman.
SMITH —SELBY. The wedding was celebrated at St. Sepulchre's Church, Khyber Pass Road, on Wednesday evening, of Miss Edna Selby, on ly daughter of Mr. and Mrs H. I. Selby, of Williamson Avenue, Grey Lynn, to Mr. George Corawall Smith, youngest son of Mrs. E. Smith and the late Mr. G. Smith, of Domett Avenue, Epsom. The bride, who entered the church with her father,, wore a slim-fitting frock of cream chenille georgette. The full skirt was fashioned to -form a fish-tail train and a second train was formed by a flowing tulle veil, which was arranged in cap fashion and held in place by a coronet of orange blossom, caught with a tiny cluster at each ear. She carried an arm bouquet of wime chrysanthemums. Attending as bridesmaid was Miss Ivath. Moore whose frock was of pink satin beaute, made on long slender lines. The close-fitting hat of pink silk straw was spade-shaped at the back and was finished with a flat bow and streamers of pink velvet ribbon. She carried an arm bouquet of pink dahlias. Little Ena Mattson was flower girl and wore a frock of frilled pink net and headdress of silver lace, with pink tulle bow. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. 0. Miller and Mr. Wilfred Selby was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at. the Domain Kiosk, where the bride's mother received her guests wearins a silver-grey crepe de chine ensemb o and larkspur-blue felt hat with chenille crown. Her bouquet was of blue A°weis. The bridegroom's mother wore a biacK ensemble with bouquet cyclamen-col-oured dahlias. Mrs. Cassells, the s grandmother, wore a navv floral ciepe do chine dress with navy [elt hat and carried a bouquet of cardinal-red dahlias. WARREN—MARGISON. _ The wedding took place in St. David's Presbyterian Church, To Aroha, recently, of Miss Doris Margison, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Margison, of Te Aroha, to Mr Eric Gordon Perkins Warren, third son of Mrs. Pratt and the late Mr. Warrcn. of Blenheim. The Rev. H. B. Hugtas performed the ceremony,, and Mrs. JJ. Mossman played the wedding music. The bride, who entered the church with Mr. A. R. Gemmell, wore an ankle-lengtn frock of pale pink georgette. Her veil of embroidered net was caught to tne head with sprays of orange blossoms, ana she carried a shower bouquet of dahlias and lilies. Miss Rangi Bradshaw, of Thames, was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of salmon pink georgette with a coatee ana pink picture hat. Her bouquet was of pink flowers. Mr. V. Warren, brother of the groom, was best man. The breakfast was held in the Majestic Tearooms, where Mrs. Margison received her guests wearing ci nigger-brown costuniß with fawn felt hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of autumutinted flowers.
WILLIAMS—MORIOE. A wedding of -widespread interest was celebrated at St. Paul s Pro-Cathedial, Wellington. 011 Thursday afternoon, when Miss Louiso Seddon Morice, second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. 0. G. Morice, Moelcerney, Eccleston Hill, and granddaughter of the lato Right Hon. 11. J. Seddon, P. 0., and Mrs. Seddon, of Lcoleston Hill, was married to Mr. Ihomas Watkin Williams, son of the lato Mr. <«. Watkin Williams, Wellington, and the lato Mrs. Arthur Lewis, of Wanganui. Tho ceremony was performed by Canon W. S. Bean, Christchurch (uncle of the bride), assisted by Archdeacon Johnson, and Mr. Robert Parker played the wedding music. The church was decorated with red and white flowers, with tall vases of palo hydrangeas on the altar. Tho bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of magnolia-tinted satin, the long-sleeved bodice being mi - toned at the back and finished with a high-waisted swathed belt. Ihe skill, which was long and flared in front, hum, from the waist at the back m a cascade of deep frills, which formed a tiain. Hei veil of Limerick lace was arranged (.it the forehead with a circlet of orange blossom and slio carried a bouquet of crimson roses. The five bridesmaids Misses Constance Morice (chief), Helen Whvto, Helen Thomson, Mary Rochfort, and Jean Knox-Gilmer, wore replicas of the bride's frock in tho same magnoliatinted satin. On their heads they wore diadems of pearls of the same shade as their frocks, and they carried sheafs of crimson roses tied with crimson streamers Mr Alec Whitdombe (Dnuedin) was best man, and Messrs. Brian Reid, Dennis Blundell, 0. Ivunkel and J. Bristed weie ushers. After the ceremony a reception was held at Moelcerney, tho home of the bride's parents, where the rooms were massed with beautiful flowers. Shaded hydrangeas, vivid red dahlias, aniaryllis lilies and roses of all shades were in profusion. and in the entrance ha I hung a wedding bell of blue and pmk flower* Mrs. Morice wore a frock of ro\al blue georgette and a short coat of the same material, trimmed with hirht fox fur. Her felt hat was swathed with velvet, and she carried a bouquet of blue and petunia-shaded flowers.
