INTERNATIONAL RUGBY.

FRANCE BEATS ENGLAND. WIN ON A DROP KICK. PARIS, April G.

What will probably be the last international llugby football match between France and England for some time, unless France speedily settles her internal quarrel, resulted in a magnificent win for France, in spite of the handicap of the absence of several of her foremost players. Tho attendance was the smallest for many years though it numbered 30,000. England was superior at tho start and secured an early lead. Franco played as though inspired in the second half and the lead was changed five times. England was leading by 13-10 with 10 minutes to go, after which Bailette picked up the ball from the loose and brilliantly scored a drop-goal from a 40-yard kick. This victory has elevated France to second place in the international championship, which Wales won. England takes tho wooden spoons.
