DIXIELAND CABARET.

The Easier carnival ball, held at Dixieland Cabaret on Monday, was very largely attended and a most enjoyable evening was spent by the many dancers present. The cool surroundings, the beautiful lighting effects and the lovely flowers added to the attraction of the evening. Novelties and favours were distributed among the guests and an exceptionally clever act by "Kodama," the Japanese foot juggler, was well received.

Bear, black georgette and gold lace; Miss Curtis, pink taffeta; Miss Boris Radeski (Sydney), midnight blue georgette; Miss Henderson, vieux rose georgette; Miss Quinthan, lavender taffeta; Miss Gillan, lime georgette; Mrs. Alexander, flame crepe de chine; Miss Rodgers, shell-pink crepe de chine; Miss Connie Turner, floral georgette; Miss Wainhouse, turquoise blue taffeta; Miss Stephenson, floral ninon; Miss P. Hartley, saxe blue taffeta; Miss Nona Warner, green floral ninon; Miss N'. Ekman, cyclamen georgette; Mrs. McCarthy, gold lame; Miss I. Rennie, black georgette; Miss V. Meredith, lemon floral georgette; Miss A. Andreassen, black satin beaute; Mrs. T. E.
