The subject was referred to the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. A. J. Murdoch, from whom the following letter was received: —" I can advise you that mj department has already made, examinations of imported,chaff from time to time and will continue to do so. Should you have any information as to disease contamination of Australian chaff, it will lie of great assistance to the department if you will furnish it." The branch decided to supply the Minister with particulars of cases in which contamination had occurred.
