WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—Wet weather prevailed cn Saturday morning, but conditions improved after mid-day, and tho remainder of the week-end was fine. The barometer had fallen to 29.65 in. early on Saturday morning, but it rose steadily afterwards and registered 30.30 in. last night. Wellington.—After tho stormy conditions of Friday tho weather rapidly improved on Saturday. After doubtful conditions in the morning the sun broke through the clouds and the remainder of the day was fine. Yesterday was fmo and sunny, with a cool southerly breeze. Christchurch. —Tho weather was fine on Saturday, with a cold breeze. 1 esterday was sunny and pleasant. The barometer last evening registered 30.1 in. and was falling slowly. Dunedin. —The weather was overcast at Dunedin on Saturday morning, but clear and fine during the afternoon and evening. Tho wind was fresh the southwest. Tho maximum temperature was 60 degrees and the barometer rose during the day. Conditions yesterday were bright and sunny, with light north-east wind. The barometer was high and steady at 29.90 in.
