PRESENTATION.

Having been promoted to the rank of senior serjreant and transferred to the Hustings district, Sergeant D. ,T. O'Neill, of Onahnnga, was the guest at a farewell function last week. Tin- Mayor of Onchungn, Mr. E. Morton, presented Sergeant O'Neill with a letter of appreciation from the Onehungß Borough Council on behalf of the citizens and paid a tribute to his sterling qualities. Messrs. 1. r.omns and A. TonVin. al--o spoke highly of {iergeaut O'Neill's services in th® borough. Mrs. O'Neill was piesented with a suite ol furniture and un eiderdowa quill.
