The Waipiata left Bluff on Friday afternoon and Dunedin on Saturday afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Kaimiro is scheduled to load at Greymonth toward the er.d of this week for New Plymouth, Wellington and Auckland.
The Government sti-nmer Matai is duo at Onehunga from northern lighthouses tomorrow morning and she i 3 to loave for Wellington on Wednesday morning.
Tho Waimea is duo from Napier this morning and will berth at Central Wharf. She is to sail on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier to-morrow afternoon. Tho Margaret W. arrived from Gisborne on Saturday night and tho Tiroa yesterday morning. They are loading at King's Wharf for their return trip to East Coast bays and Gisborne.
The Richnrdson motor-ship Awahou arrived yesterday and berthed at Central Wharf. The Pukeko is duo from Portland this evening and will also berth at Central Wharf. Both vessels are to sail on their return trip to East Coast bays to-morrow afternoon.
Tho Kiwilea arrived from Greymouth, via New Plymouth, Wellington and Picton, on Saturday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf. The vessel is to sail for Portland to-dav and sho is to return to Auckland on Wednesday to complete loading for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru.
YACHTS FOR SYDNEY. The yachts Teddy, Oimara and Rangi sailed on a race to Sydney on Saturday afternoon. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. The Canadian Cruiser, which sailed from Auckland for New York. Boston and Halifax on January 28, is reported to havo cleared Boston last Friday. THE TAMAROA. Reported to have reached Colon last Fri]day the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa is on route from London to Wellington and Auckland. Sho is duo at Wellington on March ill. MAUNGANUI REPORTS. The Maunganui will arrive from Sydney at seven o'clock to-morrow morning, according to her wireless advice. She has passengers, mail and cargo, and will berth at Central Wharf. THE TANKER VIGRID. With a full cargo of bulk oil for the Shell Company, the tanker Vigrid is reported to have left S»n Francisco on March 9 for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is duo at Auckland about April 3. PORT HUNTER LEAVES LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Hunter is reported to havo cleared London on Saturday with a general merchandise cargo for discharge at Auckland syid Wellington. THE RANGITATA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitatft sailed for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Wellington on Saturday morning to complete loading. Sho is to bo despatched from Wellington for London on March 28. TOFUA DUE TO-MORROW. Wireless advice received from tho Toftia states that 3110 will arrive from Suva at daybreak to-morrow. The vessel has passengers. mail and cargo from Tonga, Samoa and Fiji. Sho will berth at Queen's Wharf. THE CORINTHIC. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic is scheduled to clear Southampton on March 27 with passengers and mail for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. Sho i 3 due at Auckland on May 4. DEVON IN BALLAST. The Federal Line'steamer Devon is expected to leave England shortly for New Zealand in ballast. The vessel is coming to load and she is duo in New Zealand about the end of April. THE MONOWAI. The Royal Mail liner Monowai arrived at Sydney from Wellington at six o'clock on Saturday morning. The vessel is to leave Sydney next Thursday and Wellington the following Tuesday on her return voyage to San Francisco. BASIC SLAG FROM ANTWERP.
En route from Antwerp to New Zealand the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro and the Moor Line motorship Vinemoor are reported to have cleared Panama, last. Friday. Both vessels are bringing basic slag. The Tongariro will unload at Auckland and New Plymouth and the Vinemoor at Auckland and Wellington.
THE CORNWALL. To complete discharging basic slag from Antwerp the Federal Line Btenmer Cornwall sailed for Wellington on Saturday morning. The vessel will also load at Wellington and afterwards at Timaru, Gisborne. Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. She in scheduled to return to Auckland on April S and to sail for London via Panama 011 April 13.
THE TAINUI. Tn continuation of her voyage from London the Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Tainui sailed for Wellington on Saturday morning. After completion of discharge the vessel will load for her homeward voyage at Lvttelton, New Plymouth, Auckland and Wellington. rRIS TO SAIL. The cable steamer Iris is to sail for Bass Strait at mid-day on Wednesday to mend a break in the Austrolian-Tasmaninn cable. After the work has been completed the vessel will proceed to Cook Strait to repair two cables between Wellington and the South Island. CLANSMAN DISABLED. After leaving Opua for Auckland on Friday evening tlio Northern Company's steamer Clansman broke her tail shaft when she was off Cape Brett. The 30 passenges on hoard were landed at Russell by a launch wincn was sent out from Russell. Afterwards the disabled Clansman was towed to Auckland by tho tug Aknroa. Tlio two vessels arrived yesterday morning. The company advises that the Clansman is to bo definitely withdrawn from the Northern n ' n »nd tlio passenger service will be abandoned. Instead a cargo service to iNorthern porls will be run by the companys motor vessels, and tho Waka is to 1)0 despatched from Auckland to-morrow. THE WAIHEMO.
