FLIGHT TO MASTERTON.
AUCKLAND CLUB MACHINES. FIVE TO LEAVE TO-DAY. The longest flight to be undertaken by club-trained pilots of the Auckland Aero Club, to attend a pageant, will commence at noon to-day, when five machines will l>;a.ve the Mangere Aerodrome for Masterlon, to compete in tlie New Zealand Aero Cbbs' North Island display to-morrow.
The machines, which will be under the command of Flight-Lieutenant D. Jif. Allen, will fly via New Plymouth, where (hey will refuel. The return trip will be commenced at 10 a.m. on Sunday and the journey will be made via Hastings. The pilots will be Messrs. E. 11. Bouiilwr, club captain, C. M. Richwhite, C. CoryWright, J. C. F. Paine, J. M. Stevenson, J. Ewington, 11. A. Kirkup and I?. C. Lewis, who will represent the Auckland clib in the inter-club race for the New Zealand Herald Cup. Each pilot will :3y one way. The ground engineer to the club, Mr. R. J. Copley, will join them at P.ilmerston North.
