ERRATIC WATER SUPPLY.
NEW SPRINGS FORMED.
The water supplies on most farms in the neighbourhood of Hastings are far from normal. Farmers generally report that wells were very active, but after the first two days have become much slower. Several springs -have broken out on a dairy farm at Raupare, thousands of gallons of water running to waste every hour.
