TENNIS AT HOME.
TAKAPUNA CLUB.
A tennis Afc Home was given by the Takapuna Tennis Club yesterday afternoon in aid of the earthquake relief fund. Progressive tennis was played and a putting competition also took place. Tea was served in the club's pavilion by the committee which comprised Mrs. Bartrum (secretary), Mrs. Mason, Mrs. W, O'Brien and Miss McEldowney. Among the players and members present were:—Mrs. J. Bartrum, Mrs. J. Beattie, Mrs. Elliot, Mrs. Brinsden, Mrs. Tong, Mrs. George, Mrs. Clouston, Mrs. Richards, Mi's. Bailey, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Sands, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. T. Mowbray, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Woods, Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. R. N. S. Chisholm, Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. McLaren, Mrs. Lister, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Ma6on, Mrs. O'Brien, Mrs. E. Wiseman, Mrs. 11. Matthews, Mrs. White, Mrs. Bow, Mrs. E. Sullivan, Mrs. Rollo, Mrs. Jacobi, Mrs. Boak, Mrs. Cadness, Mrs. Heywood, Mrs. Lorie, Mrs. Dumbleton, Mrs.' Everiss, Mrs. Freakes, Mrs. Randall, Mrs. Gibbons, Mrs. Coltman, Mrs. C. Crosher, Mrs. D. M. Davidson, Miss Lorie, Miss McEldowney, Miss Weston, Miss Berta O'Neill, Mi6S Betty Buddie, Miss U. Platts, Miss Macky, Miss Frame, Miss Gordon, Miss Kelly, Miss Mair, Miss Whittaker, Miss McLeod. Miss Merton, Miss O'Brien, Miss M. Mason, Miss N. Mason, Miss Neville, Miss Christensen, Miss Haynes, Miss Dalston, Miss Holmes. A sum exceeding £6 will be given to the fund as a result of this effort.
