SHARK IN HARBOUR.

FIRST SEEN FOR 12 YEARS. EXPERIENCE AT TIMARU. A grey shark, 6ft. to 7ft. in length, wae seen in Timani Harbour at the weekem! The harbourmaster, Captain D. McDougall, and members of his staff, were among those who testified as to its length. A small dog which was swimming in tho shallow water was detected by the shark, which chased the animal right inshore to the rocks. " This is the first time I have seen a shark in the harbour for 12 years, said the harbourmaster, " and this one is certainly a big fellow." He and his staff had been working about the harbour during the morning and had seen tho unwelcome visitor on more than one occasion.
