CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP. LONDON, Feb. 27. Harrods have purchased (lie business of James Shoolbred and Company which went into voluntary liquidation in June, since when it has been seeking a purchase.. The business lias been bought for £BOO,OOO as a going concern. Shoolbred's is the oldest general store in Britain. It was founded in .1817 and boasted Charles Dickens among its early patrons.
